I am an independent consultant for a skin care company and would like information or suggestions on how to advertise my products and sign people up to sell with me? Its not a mlm company and the products are wonderful. Thank you.

Go to Criagslist.org. It’s free to post and you can sell your product in your city or nearest large city and advertise job opportunities with your company.

Start with your friends, pass out business cards and flyers, give them samples and have them tell others about you, then try advertising on the internet.

Get yourself a nice little printer and print some ads. Email friends and family….word of mouth goes a long way. Give small discounts on the ads to get more customers. tel friends if they make a sale, they will get a free item. Advertise on the Internet like you just did but avoid spamming. Join Yahoo! groups or get a web page started. Sell on EBay to start Internet business….all kinds of ideas!

I would start by running ads in local magazines. Talk to beauty salons and such and see if they would be willing to use your stuff as demo to see if that can spike sales. They would probably want a cut of it of course (they would say there is only so much space in the store). You could try locl beauty pageants and shows. Trade shows that are in the region. Advertise in regional or national magazines. It could cost you alot at first, but to make money you have to take the risk and spend money to make it back. Thats all my dad with his business, ADVERTISE he had no money, and alot of the profits were put back into advertising and product development.
Give it a whirl. It could take a couple years before you see any reasonable returns. Develop a website too, that will be CRUCIAL to success. You can put products with descriptions, and order form, contact information and so on.
